Rishad Aman The Man To Liberate Lamu
A Lamu based tycoon and politician, Rishad Amana is the man who has braced himself to liberate the Constituency of Lamu West.
The astute businessman with a wealth of experience believes that he has what it takes to transform Lamu and take it to the next level.
Mr Amana is not new in politics having lost narrowly in the two elections of 2013 and 2017. With a wealth of wisdom, Mr Amana as he is commonly known, intends to give priority to security, healthcare, tourism and youth empowerment.
It’s a widely known fact that Lamu has been the soft spot for the militant group Alshabab that has seen the region lag behind.
“I don’t know why the government lacks the strategy to flush out the criminals and yet it has all the mercenaries,” he quipped.
He has a big plan of reviving tourism which is the main economic mainstay of the people of the coastal region. He plans to do this through a close collaboration with the government.
Lamu being a cosmopolitan constituency, he plans to bring all the communities together so that they can live harmoniously for the betterment of the coastal region.
Mr Rishad called upon the voter of Lamu to look into the aspirants capability to lead and not just electing leaders without a vision.
