This is not a motivational story by the way. After form 4, I had opted to be a priest not because I liked bachelorhood but because that was the only way that I would get tertiary education.
Back then, you needed more than a B+ to go to university. Despite being the brightest student in our local village secondary school, I only managed a C+.
