Wangoro Fronted For Speakers Job

Details are slowly emerging that the immediate former runners up in Embakasi North Parliamentary race Harrison Wangoro Mwangi might be the next County Assembly speaker for Nairobi.

According to sources privy to the developments Mr. Wangoro is said to be having an upper hand in the much coveted City Seat that wields heavy power. He’s the only candidate Jubilee party has confirmed through writing.

The remaining, who are the likes of Ken Ngondi, Rachel Shebesh and Benson Mutura are just lobbying even without confirmation from the party.

To boost Wangoro’s chances, Sifuna is on record that Ken Ngondi is not their candidate.

With both Jubilee and ODM under the same umbrella of Azimio, both secretary generals Jeremiah Kioni of Jubilee and Edwin Sifuna of ODM are said to have given Wangoro their blessings Owing to Azimio having a majority of the MCAs, it’s easier to sail through by fronting a single candidate in the name of Harrison Wangoro.
