Damaris Waiganjo Optimistic of Win for Kiambaa MP seat

Honourable Damaris Wambui Waiganjo is no ordinary woman. She is a go-getter, a career woman, a technocrat, entrepreneur and of course a leader. She is eyeing the prestigious Kiambaa parliamentary seat.

Speaking exclusively to the times, she said, “I’m committed to bringing back Kiambaa’s lost glory and ensuring I deliver a resounding win come August.”

Just recently, the pretty and charming Hon. Damaris was all smiles after the New Jubilee Party gave her the opportunity to be the party flag bearer in Kiambaa Constituency.

She said, “I strongly believe that I am the most dedicated, industrious and development oriented candidate, based on my track record of empowering youth, women and the elderly, “the brilliant aspirant going by the slogan “Msupa na works” said.

Mrs Damaris is not new in leadership since she was the Director of Liasion in Kiambu county. During her tenure in the esteemed office she lobbied for several roads in the constituency. These are 3 Muchatha link roads that would link from the main road, Ruaka Chief’s office camp that would link bypass to Gacharage saving mileage towards Gachie.

Her passion is to constantly give Kiambaa a face-lift that will earn back its lost glory.
This great woman has put education as one of her main agenda. “Education is one of my most sacred agendas. During my tenure as the member of parliament for Kiambaa, we will set up good programs to ensure our children reap the maximum benefit of our education system,” she said.

To demonstrate how passionate she is in matters education, she added, “Our children are the future, their right to education must be safeguarded and protected, their learning environment enriched and made conducive, for optimal learning to take place. That’s why am investing in assisting students to access financial aid. I will also ensure that, they have a sustainable school feeding program and access to adequate washrooms in schools.”
