IMS Certification Validates Davis & Shirtliff's Leadership in Water and Energy Solutions
Davis & Shirtliff has reached a significant milestone by earning Integrated Management System (IMS) certification from the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS). This certification underscores the company’s dedication to establishing robust systems for quality, environmental sustainability, and health and safety as part of its mission to enhance lives through water and energy solutions.
The IMS certification solidifies Davis & Shirtliff’s standing as an industry leader and demonstrates its preparedness to deliver excellence in critical areas affecting the well-being and economic progress of its customers across all 47 counties. This certification is the result of the company’s unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of innovation and sustainability in all of its operations.

The IMS certification integrates three essential management systems: Quality Management (ISO 9001:2015), Environmental Management (ISO 14001:2015), and Occupational Health and Safety Management (ISO 45001:2018). It also aligns with global concerns regarding climate change and sustainability, ensuring stakeholder safety through regulatory compliance and hazard prevention. This certification encompasses a wide range, including 83 sites across eight countries where Davis & Shirtliff operates.
Davis & Shirtliff joins other esteemed organizations in Kenya that have received IMS certification, including Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) Kenya, EABL, Safaricom, Bidco Africa, and Isuzu East Africa.
The IMS certification received official approval from the KEBS Certification Committee on July 17, 2023, and the certificates will remain valid for three years.
