Five year old Mwanzia to undergo cancer operation at Kenyatta Hospital

Well-wishers have been requested to help raise funds that will aid the operation of Peter Mwanzia, 5, who is a cancer patient.

Mwanzia, a resident of Matopeni ward, Embakasi Central is set to undergo a cancer operation at Kenyatta Hospital next month at the Kenyatta Hospital.

The operation will be done on his left eye that is now swollen nd has put him in much pain.

He has also been undergoing treatment for acute sinuses at the same Hospital where he is still recuperating.

Matopeni MCA Abdi Hassan Guyo who catered for all costs related to the treatment of the acute sinuses has called on well-wishers to come on board and help the family raise funds for the cancer operation

“A cry for help is sounded to raise the remaining cost of the cancer operation and treatment which will be clarified by the Hospital on Wednesday 5th of May,’’ Guyo said.

The child’s mother,Rose Mutuku, is a single mother who grew up as an orphan hence cash strapped to meet the treatment costs.
