HCG Cancer Center Launches State of the art Machine

HCG CCK cancer centre, the first comprehensive cancer centre in East and Central Africa has hosted the official inauguration of Elekta VersaHd.

This is the first state-of-the-art machine for cancer treatment in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The machine is capable of handling up to stereotactic capabilities and able to treat more than 150 cancer patients per day.

The machine was inaugurated by H. R. H The royal Princess Victoria of Sweden, Johan Forssell Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade and Habib Chief Executive Officer of Elekta, Mr Bhupendra Bharti Chief Executive Officer HCG CCK Cancer Centre.
