Hennessy partnered with Thrift Social, an event held at Winningpost .Ngong Racecourse, bringing together Hennessy cognac fans from the art, music, and lifestyle.

The Thrift Social editions, which have grown in prominence in Kenya’s ever-evolving music, art, and

During this edition of Thrift Social, the attendees showed up in different shades of ‘Nude Tones’ as
per the event’s theme.

Speaking about the event, Hennessy Market Manager for Eastern Africa, Alexandre Helaine, noted
that, “Music has always been in the DNA of Hennessy, and it’s in this regard that we are living up to
the promise of supporting creatives; by partnering with stakeholders in the industry who create
experiences where creatives can showcase their crafts.

He further added that “Hennessy would like to celebrate young creatives not just in Kenya but across
the African continent, and with this new generation of creatives, their energy, audacious vision of the
future and boundless inner confidence, is the essence of the Hennessy message of Never Stop Never
Settle.”

From Kenya, key artists that headlined the event included; Xenia Manasseh and Nairobi’s upcoming
Bey T alongside South Africa’s Shekhinah, who performed her classic hits and new hits from her
latest album ‘Trouble In Paradise’ and ‘Queen of Gqom’ Moonchild Sanelly.
