‘Lets Put Differences Aside and Work for Kajiado Residents’ Lenku Tells Opponents
With the general elections behind us, Kajiado people are now looking upon the Governor elect Joseph Ole Lenku for service delivery.
Based on the manifestoes floated by Lenku Kajiado residents are expressing optimism That good times lay ahead.
Of great importance in this second term of governor Joseph ole Lenku’s administration, is the composition of the county assembly to give the county executive the impetus of running the county business.
Already Ole Lenku has extended an arm to his political rivals to put aside their differences and serve Kajiado residents.
“To those who did not make it, there is always a next time. I welcome all of you to work with me,” Lenku said
Lenku managed to get 117,600 votes against his closest competitor Katoo Ole Metito of the UDA party.
In August 2017 Ole Lenku was inaugurated as the second Governor of Kajiado County.
He ousted Nkedienye who was elected the first governor of the county.
