Head of State to pitch tent in coast region

Deputy President William Ruto as intensified efforts to capture Nairobi City County in 2022.

President William Ruto will be in the coast region to inspect development projects and was expected to be back in the country by the time of going to press.

The Head of State had traveled to Dar es Salaam to attend the Human Capital Summit, meant to discuss harmonisation of labour policies in the East African region amid speculation he had snubbed his Tanzanian counterpart Samia  Suluhu two weeks ago in the country.

According to a tentative program released by the Presidential Communication Service [PSC] the  Head of State will be in Lamu on Thursday.

He will issuing cheques to fishing communities at Mokowe in Lamu West constituency.

At mid day he is expected to open Lamu County Commissioner’s office at Mokowe.

At 10 am he will be issuing cheques to fishing communities at Mokowe and at noon he is expected to open the Lamu County Commissioner’s office at Mukowe.

At 2pm he will be issuing cheques to fishing communities at Ngao in Garsen constituency.
At 3pm he will be commissioning TARDA Irrigation Project in Garsen constituency.

On Friday he will spend the entire day in Kilifi county to be hosted by Kilifi Governor Gideon Mung’aro.  

On Saturday the Head of State will be at the port of Mombasa meeting with stakeholders.   

President Ruto will wind  up his coastal tour in Kwale county courtesy of  governor Fatuma Achani.
