Nairobi Members of County Assembly now want Governor Johnson Sakaja’s adviser Osman Khalif fired for gross misconduct and harassment of county government staff and the public.

In a notice of motion sponsored by Eastleigh Airbase MCA Fuad Hussein the Assembly has also given County secretary Patrick Analo 21 days to report on Osman’s designation and roles.

The City MCAs want Osman barred from issuing orders and directives in the name of county executive.

“Let Osman Khalif stop operating within the county government hierarchy until the public service board and the county secretary clearly outline his roles,” averred MCA Fuad.

Makongeni Ward Rep who doubles up as the majority leader Peter Imwatok during the plenary session on Wednesday afternoon asked the staff and public to ignore all the orders being issued by Osman.

“The county staff and public are tired of intimidation, harassment, irregular suspension, deployment and suspension hence Osman must stop frustrating the county staffs and the public,” he said.
